It even becomes part of the disease.
We are having similar debates here in France, where political hypocrisy is monumentally rife at the moment. The socialists are going to enormous lengths to try to discredit the government, as per usual on a personal basis. However It seems to be bouncing back, doing them more harm than good, and deservedly so.Mirinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14762774089637304953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33445632.post-29040412343566569532012-02-08T10:48:13.204+01:002012-02-08T10:48:13.204+01:00Rob, I fully agree with you (once again): "ev...Rob, I fully agree with you (once again): "even if this rule helped the hypothetical 14-year-old, it would be wrong," but David Brooks' reasoning is very sound.

P.S. So why do they have to be forced to pay for murder. In making this ruling, our government has denied Catholics the fundamental freedom afforded to us by the U.S. Constitution, which secures our religious liberty. Under this rule, we will be compelled either to violate our conscience or to drop health coverage for our employees and then suffer penalties for doing so. The only concession granted by the government was to give institutions one year to comply with this directive.
Unfortunately, too many Catholic bishops tacitly endorsed Obama in the last election. Now it seems that Obama has capitalized on the bishops' weakened stance in the public square because of the sex abuse scandal.Carolyn Bergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16117562015966817924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33445632.post-48562483602244377452012-02-08T03:17:40.993+01:002012-02-08T03:17:40.993+01:00Again you made an excellent point: David Brooks is...Again you made an excellent point: David Brooks is right... and Obama is twice wrong.
